I entered the legal profession to help make the world a better place.  I enjoy renovating and building for much the same reason.  I take pride in restoring older homes and upgrading spaces to make them more functional, durable, energy efficient, and visually pleasing.  I endeavor to provide quality work at reasonable prices by containing costs and choosing the right materials for the job.  I regularly work with clients to design projects and select appropriate products and color schemes.

Call 781-654-7699 or email me to discuss your next project.

What space would you like to update or re-configure?  What could use a repair?   A site visit is usually necessary to provide an accurate, detailed price estimate.  However, I will gladly provide you with a rough estimate over the phone or by email if possible.

After practicing law for twelve years, I decided to explore my passion for building and construction in 2012.  Prior to law school, I worked for a general contractor on Cape Cod who taught me how to build anything to last and emphasize customer service.  Later, I rejuvenated several rooms and the basement of  my 1928 Denver bungalow.  That experience enhanced my woodworking skills and eventually propelled me toward a career in Carpentry.

In 2013, I completed the North Bennet Street School’s Carpentry program.  NBSS is one of the nation’s oldest schools dedicated to teaching fine woodworking and other classic handicrafts.  At NBSS, I formed a deeper appreciation for fine craftsmanship and learned the importance of proper technique.  At every step of the building process, accuracy, squareness, and attention to detail pay off with quality results in the end.

I am a fully insured, registered Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (Reg. No. 170947), and member of the Massachusetts bar.  I have completed Massachusetts training for Lead-Safe Renovation and Repair.

I live on the South Shore and frequently visit Cape Cod, where my mom lives in Cotuit.  My wife Kari and I enjoy spending time with our two adorable cocker spaniels, Dexter and Chewbacca, who often help out in my workshop.  My hobbies include woodworking, Italian language studies, and skiing.
